The Emery Village BIA is administered by a volunteer Board of Management, made up of members of the BIA who are elected by their fellow BIA members and approved by City Council. The City Councillor of the Ward also serves ex officio as a member of the Board.
The term of office for the Board of Management is the same as the term of office for the City of Toronto Council. Each year, the Board proposes a program of activities and a budget to cover estimated expenses, which are voted on by all BIA members present at the Annual General Meeting.
